Adult learning

ÐÇ¿ÕÓ°ÊÓ’ adult learning programs follow the B.C. provincial curriculum to meet learners’ needs of all age levels. Adult learning is suitable for students who wish to begin, continue, or re-start their education. Program benefits include:

  • Completing secondary school education.
  • Preparing for entry into a post-secondary institution (e.g. university).
  • Building proficiency in English, mathematics, science, social science, and information technology skills through Adult Foundations courses.
  • Students learn at their preferred pace by enrolling in scheduled in-person classes, self-paced courses, or online learning (subject to course availability).

  • The Home Learners Program for students in kindergarten through to grade eight.
  • New West Online Learning for students – including adults – working on courses from grade nine through to grade 12.
